I går, altså den første dag, vi har her, gik vi bare rundt i det område, hvor vi bor. Det er det 6. arrondissement. Jeg har faktisk boet i det område alle de gange, jeg har været i Paris. Her er ligesom det hele - hyggelig stemning, en hel masse butikker (inkl. le bon marche - fantastisk stormagasin) og cafeer/restauranter. Det er kommet en masse nye butikker inkl. en ny kæmpe stor Ralph Lauren butik, som er åbnet lige ved siden af Sonia Rykiel's største butik + hovedkontor på boulevard Saint Germain. Hun bor lige rundt om hjørnet fra butikken, og jeg har faktisk set hende flere gange på vej til og fra arbejde. Hun har altid de højeste hæle på + stok - hvis nu hun kravlede ned af dem, kunne hun måske også smide stokken - bare en tanke. Inde i Ralph Lauren butikken er der åbnet en restaurant - Ralph's - som jeg egentlig havde tænkt, vi skulle prøve, men der var desværre fuldt booket, mens vi er her, så det må blive næste gang jeg skal til Paris - som heldigvis er om 3 uger - dejligt arbejde man har :)
Vi fik nu ikke købt så meget i går. Min søster købte disse fine sko fra Miu Miu :)
Yesterday, the first day we were here, we just walked around the area where we live. It is the 6th arrondissement. I've actually lived in this area every time I've been in Paris. This area pretty much has everything - a nice atmosphere, a lot of shops (incl. le bon marche - great department store) and cafes/restaurants. A lot of new shops have opened since the last time I was here, incl. a new huge Ralph Lauren store, which opened just next to Sonia Rykiel's largest store + headquarters on Boulevard Saint Germain. She lives just around the corner from the shop, and I've actually seen her several times on her way to and from work. She always wears the highest heels and walks with a cane - if she wore flats perhaps she could loose the cane - just a thought. In the Ralph Lauren store there is also a restaurant - Ralph's - which I really wanted to try, but unfortunately it's fully booked while we are here, so it has to be the next time I go to Paris - which is in about 3 week - I have a great job :)
We didn't really buy that much yesterday, however my sister did buy these lovely shoes from Miu Miu :)
